MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guests per cottage is based on our units' capacity to comfortably and safely accommodate our guests. Occupancy exceptions must be pre-approved by management. If unapproved and maximum occupancy is exceeded, you will be asked to vacate the property and forfeit any rental payments.
MINIMUM STAY: All reservations require a two-night minimum. During the Annual Quilt Show, Memorial Weekend Holiday, 4th of July Holiday and Labor Day Weekend, a three night minimum stay is required. Call our Reservation Desk during office hours for one-night availability.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Guests are responsible for payment of all reserved nights regardless of actual arrival or departure date. You must be at least 21 years of age and show proof of identification upon arrival. A 50% deposit by credit card is required when making a reservation. Balance is due upon arrival using cash or credit card. Valid credit card information is required and will be kept on file.
FORMS OF PAYMENT: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. Prepaid credit cards are not accepted.
GUEST SERVICES: To provide the lowest rates possible and for your privacy, there are no provisions for daily housekeeping. Towels and linens may be exchanged during office hours at the reservation desk. Coin-operated laundry facilities are located in the building located next to the office. Laundry soap is not provided.
DAMAGES: Your unit is inspected and inventoried by our staff prior to your arrival. Upon departure your unit will again be inspected and inventoried. We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for any damages or losses incurred during your stay.
CANCELLATIONS: Refund of deposit, less a 10% cancellation fee, will be made if cancellation is received 30 days prior to arrival date. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is less than 30 days prior to arrival unless we are able to re-sell your reserved nights. At that time you can choose to transfer your deposit to a future reservation or receive a refund less a 10% cancellation fee. If you need to cancel or modify an existing reservation, please submit the required information. After processing your request, we will send a confirmation to you by email. All requests must be confirmed by Lighthouse Landing Resort. If you do not receive a confirming email within 36 hours, please call (800) 491-7245 to check on the status of your request.

NO PETS ALLOWED: If a pet is reported inside your rental unit, you will be asked to vacate the property, forfeit any rental payments and will be responsible for any damages caused by your pet. An additional cleaning fee of $150 will be automatically charged to your credit card.
NO SMOKING: If smoking inside your rental unit is reported you may be asked to vacate the property, forfeit any rental payments and will be responsible for any damages caused by smoking. Reports by our staff of tobacco smoke odor inside the cottages will result in an additional cleaning/deodorizing fee of $150 and will be automatically charged to your credit card.

CHECK-IN TIME: You can check in anytime between 3 pm and 5pm. Due to our high standards for cleanliness, there is a possibility your rental unit might not be ready at 3 pm, especially during high season. If checking in on Sunday, November 1 - March 31, Late Arrival terms apply.
LATE ARRIVAL: Guests arriving after 5 pm must make prior arrangements for late arrival with the office including the completion of a late arrival form. The balance of your reservation will be charged to your credit card on the day of your arrival and directions to your unit and your key will be made available to you.
CHECK-OUT TIME: You must check out by 11 am or earlier. In fairness to everyone, check-out time must be strictly observed. Our cleaning crew frequently has several rental units to clean on the same day and must have enough time to get them all ready by 3 pm. This is often not possible if guests do not leave by 11 am and can cause serious problems for our cleaning crew. Late departure must be approved.
