Mother Nature provides most of the entertainment at our resort and surrounding area. We offer a small private beach with picnic tables and a fire pit. We recommend wearing water shoes due to the rocky approach to the lake. Fishing gear and a license are available nearby. Boats and kayaks are available for rent at our resort. The clean, warm water of Kentucky Lake is a great place to teach children how to swim, sail, ski, or fish. Take the kids horseback riding at Wrangler’s Campground in LBL or play miniature golf at Maggie’s Jungle. The Land Between the Lakes has biking/hiking trails where you can see and enjoy an abundance of wildlife. Bikes are available to rent nearby. Take a drive through the Elk & Bison Prairie, walk through the Nature Center, canoe on Honker Lake, hike around Hematite Lake, stargaze at the LBL Planetarium, or visit the Homeplace, where life is re-created on a mid-19th century Southern farm. For a calendar of events call the LBL at 270-924-2000 or visit them on the Internet at www.lbl.org.

No pets are allowed in most cottages or guest rooms. A $150 cleaning fee will be charged for cottages not designated “pet-friendly”. Pets, with restrictions, are allowed in designated cottages only. Two pets per cottage, not to exceed 50 lbs each. The pet fee per stay reflects $80 for Cottage S1 and Cottage S2, $90 for Cottage N1, and $100 for Cottage N2. $300 pet damage fee.

Many of our resort customers bring their own boats (power and sail welcome). We have a limited amount of transient slips available, but we can almost always find you a slip. We do not take advance reservations for slips; just let us know at the time you are making the reservation for a cottage. We also have annual boat slips available. Call Robin to learn more at (270) 362-8201.

Our cottages do not have washers and dryers. We do have a laundry station with a washer and dryer located beside the office. Need laundry detergent? Our Specialty Shop has you covered!

If the emergency is life-threatening, call 911. We have a local fire department and ambulance that can be here in a matter of minutes and several hospitals nearby.

Gratuities are always left to the consideration of the guest but are always welcomed by our cleaning crew. Any gratuities left with the office staff or in the rental units are collected and distributed equally with our cleaning crew.

We have been swimming in the lake since we were kids. The water is warm, clean, and refreshing. What a fantastic way to spend time with your family floating around on Kentucky Lake on a hot lazy afternoon. So bring your rafts and life jackets and enjoy!

We have the largest pool in the Midwest. It just doesn’t have a concrete bottom and we don’t have to add chemicals. Of course, we are speaking of Kentucky Lake. Enjoy!
