Our rental fleet features the Colgate 26, used by the Naval Academy for its sail training courses.  The 11'6" cockpit offers plenty of comfortable space for the whole family, plus friends.

The Colgate 26 combines excellent performance with safety and durability in a boat that is ideal for sailing and exploring Kentucky Lake.

To reserve your boat, call 800-491-7245 (SAIL). Please book as early as possible to secure the dates you want. No reservations on half day rentals.



All our rental boats are insured. A damage deposit, required on all boats, is payable upon arrival in CASH, TRAVELERS CHECK or CREDIT CARDS (Visa, MC and Discover). NO personal checks accepted. The cost of any repairs, replacement or service charges will be deducted from your deposit.

A 50% deposit is required with reservations. No deposits will be refunded due to cancellation less than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. If your reservation (see cottages) can be reassigned, your deposit will be refunded less a 10% cancellation fee. Sorry no rain checks! There are no reservations available on 1/2 day rentals.


For your safety and comfort during your charter you will be thoroughly checked out before departing the dock. We will explain all the systems, verify the inventory and discuss your cruising plans. All members on board are invited to participate in this checkout. Please use this opportunity to ask as many questions as you like.


Protection from the sun, sunglasses, towels, hats, deck shoes or sneakers. (NO black sole shoes allowed) 


Do not bring any pets, live bait, or oily sun lotions and sunscreens (non-oily lotions are o.k.) Oily lotions leave stains and marks on decks, cushions, sails, etc. No single handed sailing allowed.
