Street dancing is one of Grand Rivers’ oldest traditions. The Grand Rivers Street Dance has been around nearly as long as the city itself. From 7pm-10pm, Grand Rivers’ very own band, The Underdogs, jam out some tunes right in the center of the city streets! This event is fun for the entire family and continues each second Saturday of the month through September.
Spring Car Cruise-In
Live music and cool cars, nothing sounds better! On Saturday, May 28th, come see cars ranging from vintage to brand new compete for $500 door prizes at the Spring Car Cruise-In. This completely free event will also be hosting live music from the Kentucky native band The Sullivan 3 Band. The Kentucky Shores Family Fun Center is open for the season! Take the whole family out for a day of never-ending excitement. Open 7 days a week, weather permitting. This affordable amusement park is 15 minutes away from Grand Rivers and offers everything from go-karts, mini-golf, and even ziplining! Maggie’s Jungle Golf
Another fun daily activity is to hit the mini green! Maggie’s Jungle Golf has been providing some exciting family fun for 32 years. Open 7 days a week, weather permitting. An abundance of trees and shrubberies surround the courses, providing a good amount of shade while you play. Each hole provides a different challenge, perfect for a friendly competition between families. Not only does Maggie’s offer some putt-putt, but families can also explore their petting zoo as well.
