Peaceful abode on Kentucky lake Stayed in cabin S-6 for one night as a stop over while driving from Nashville to St. Louis. The cabin is situated on a hill amongst trees that affords a nice view of the lake. This cabin consisted of a kitchenette, full size bathroom and a bedroom with king bed, sofa and a jacuzzi. Everything was clean and functional. The air conditioning worked very well but was rather noisy as it cycled off and on during the night. But at least the room was cool. I recommend bringing or buying groceries on site, especially for breakfast as none of the nearby restaurants appeared to be open at that time. The nearby Village Market has basically anything needed for any cooking needs. Lighthouse Landing is a short 3 miles off I-24 at exit 31 so it’s easy to find. The office staff were all very helpful and welcoming! richard p

Great Cottage We went to celebrate anniversary and stayed in cabin S9.. The cabin was very clean and had a great view of the lake. Very quite and relaxing. The only thing that could be a little difficult is parking if there are guest in cabins beside you as there is a picnic table and grill in front of it and it is for cabin next to you. We didn't have any problems as there were no guest on either side. We would definitely stay again. Staff was great! Mary M

Best stay Grand Rivers! Recently stayed at a one bedroom cottage (S3). Over looks the harbor and a view of Kentucky Lake. Spectacular! The cottage was immaculate and had everything you could want in the kitchen! Deck was great to sit out and watch wildlife too. We enjoyed watching a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers in the morning. Staff is top notch! Owners are truly amazing and accommodating! We will definitely be back!

Very quiet and cozy Location was great for all downtown activities. The parking spots are tight, one per single bed cabin. It was quiet, cozy and very clean! The cabin had all we needed for a weekend. I did wish I had brought a better spatula, a few bigger trash bags and i forgot pan spray. But the village market, 3 mins away had all that. Wifi signal was weak. Bed very comfortable. We had a very chilly night and the gas had already been turned off the log fireplace, that was disappointing but they had wall heat that kept us warm. The sunsets are amazing and I look forward to going back. We stayed in S7

Beautiful area to visit at any time of year! This was our second time staying here and we loved it all over again! It was still all lit up for Christmas making the scenery so beautiful. Lots of little shops nearby including Pattie’s family area: including seasonal mini golf, shops, and a well-known restaurant (reservations suggested). The resort itself was clean and comfortable; all cabins include a kitchenette and we had a large whirlpool tub and small fireplace to add extra warmth. In the warmer months, you can’t enjoy boating on Kentucky Lake or other water sports.
Take a trip down the Land Between the Lakes and enjoy some hiking or geocaching. While in that area, about 30.minutes south from the resort, is the Golden Pond Planetarium and Observatory where you can view a 40 minute astronomy movie in their surround-sound dome theater.
I also suggest a visit 30 minutes south of the observatory to Fort Donaldson National Battlefield in TN. It’s a self-guided drive thru tour of the area where part of the Civil War was fought. You can park and walk the grounds and take pictures of the beautiful scenery along the Cumberland River. After all this, it’s just about an hour’s drive back to the resort.
You can’t go wrong staying in this area if you are a true outdoor person!
