On-the-water experience is the best way to gain the confidence and skills needed to relax and enjoy the wonders of sailing. You will benefit from the safety, agility, and fun of sailing the Colgate 26, also used by the U.S. Naval Academy in their sail training program.
From its prime location and well-maintained facilities to its experienced staff and training boats, Lighthouse Landing Sailing School offers an exceptional place to learn how to sail. You can count on an enjoyable, engaging, and enriching learning experience throughout the 4-day course.
2026 Sailing Class Schedule:
June 4-7FULL- July 9-12
September 17-20FULL- October 1-4
Participants must be at least 16 years old. The class size is limited to 4 students. The classes will be 50% in the classroom and 50% in the water. Students will have one hour for lunch each day. The classes will be taught using a 26 ft. Colgate. The 2026 Sailing School price is $875 per student. We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. 30 days before the class, we will charge the remaining 50% balance and send class materials to each student.
Upon completion of the class and passing the exam, each student will receive 2 certifications:
- 101 – Basic Keel Boat
- 103 – Coastal Cruising
CANCELLATIONS:
If you cancel your reservation outside of 30 days, your deposit will be transferred to a gift certificate, valid for 6 months.
• If you cancel within 30 days of your reservation, your deposit is NON- Refundable.
• We will allow 1 modification or change request for existing reservations, all other modifications will incur a 20% fee of the deposit.
• Special promotional reservations are not eligible for date changes, refunds, or gift certificates.
• All modification or cancellation requests must be submitted via email at info@lighthouselanding.com or by calling our Reservations Desk at (270) 362-8201.
Office Hours: Sunday – Saturday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, closed on Sundays November – March.
After processing your request, we will send a confirmation to you by email. If you do not receive a confirming email within 36 hours, please call (270) 362-8201 to check on the status of your request.
