Eagle viewing
Kentucky Lake has become one of the country’s premier places to see Bald Eagles. With over 2,300 miles of undeveloped shoreline, bare trees, and ample food supply, bald eagles flock to Kentucky Lake every winter to nest and catch fish. There are an estimated 100 Bald Eagles that make Kentucky Lake their home every January and February, so bring your binoculars and keep your eye out for the chance to see one.

The Grand Rivers Jetty, adjacent to Lighthouse Landing, is a two-mile walking trail that extends out onto Kentucky Lake with an open Gazebo and benches where you can sit and watch the sunset.
