As summer comes to a close in September, autumn in Grand Rivers starts to bloom. The 46th annual Hunter’s Moon Festival in Grand Rivers rings in the new season on October 8 with a day filled with Americana spirit at Little Lake Park. Craft, Retail, & Food Vendors
From 9 AM until 7 PM, get to know Grand Rivers’ local craft makers, shop owners, and food sellers at the Hunter Moon’s Festival market.
A Children’s Costume Parade
Dress your kids in their cutest and coolest costumes and participate in the children’s costume parade! At 10 AM, Grand Rivers’ little ones will take on the park adorned in their favorite costumes.
Main Street Parade
Starting at 2 PM, come out to Main Street and enjoy a grand parade filled with eye-popping floats. Cash prizes ranging from $200 to $500 will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place floats. $100 cash prizes will also be awarded for the best-decorated car and golf carts!
An Old Fashion Cake Walk in the Park
What’s better than cake and fundraising for a local cause? Get ready to join the cake walk circle during the festival and claim a sweet treat!
The Sullivan 3 Band Street Dance
From 6 PM to 9 PM, Grand Rivers’ very own band, The Sullivan 3 Band, will jam out some tunes right in the center of the Hunter’s Moon Festival! Street dancing is one of Grand Rivers’ oldest traditions; there’s no better way to join in with the community than at this event!
