Autumn always brings fall colors, crisp weather, and fun times to the Land Between the Lakes. Many believe there isn’t much to do in the area as snowfall approaches, but fall in Grand Rivers has much in store for those who visit! Amelia’s Run- October 22-23, 2022

Lace up your running shoes and join in on the fun for a special cause at Amelia’s Run. Runners have the option to tackle the classic 10K, the new 5K course, and virtually for those who cannot attend. Your little ones can also join in with the Kid Fun Run! Entry is $10 and includes a commemorative medal and t-shirt. All proceeds from this event will go to the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates in honor of Amelia B. Wilson, a beloved Grand Rivers citizen dedicated to teaching the importance of organ donation before sadly passing.

Livingston County Bale Trail- October 1-31, 2022

Enjoy classic autumn activities in crisp fall weather at the Livingston County Bale Trail. Take on the trail that stretches all along Livingston County and admire hay bales decorated to resemble cute animals, iconic characters, and other unique sights. The bale trail winners will be announced on October 29 at the Bale Blast. Join the fun and enjoy a trunk or treat, costume contest, and chili bar!

Grand Rivers Trunk or Treat- October 31, 2022

Get your little ones dressed in their scariest, cutest, and coolest costumes and enjoy the fun at Grand Rivers Trunk or Treat! This spooky and safe event will be hosted at the Grand Rivers Community Center, and your family will have an excellent opportunity to load up on sweet treats and prizes.

Grand Rivers Festival of Lights

As Grand Rivers gears up for the holidays, the small town transforms into a winter wonderland for the Festival of Lights. From November to mid-January, your family can enjoy a dazzling light display adorning the quaint village, Little Lake Park, and other properties in the area. Your little ones can visit Santa and Mrs. Clause to share their Christmas wishes and hop on a Victorian carriage ride with you to further immerse in the holiday cheer. A holiday market at the Grand Rivers Community Centers will have artisans selling their works along with food and wine vendors. The Badgett Playhouse will be showcasing its Christmas Spectacular as well!
